I am thrilled and honored to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to all of you as we gather here today to commence the Youth Minister Training Program. This momentous occasion marks the beginning of a transformative journey that will empower each of you to become dedicated and compassionate youth ministers.
You have embarked on a path that carries immense significance, not only for your own personal and spiritual growth but also for the lives of countless young people you will impact. The role of a youth minister requires unwavering commitment, empathy, and a profound dedication to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and social well-being of the next generation.
As you commence this training program, I want you to reflect on the importance of your calling. The young minds and hearts you will engage with are our future, and your influence can shape their lives in ways you may not yet fully grasp. It is a calling that demands humility and a strong sense of purpose.

Throughout this program, you will delve into various topics and subjects, ranging from theology and counseling to leadership and program development. You will learn from our knowledgeable instructors and each other as you share your experiences, insights, and aspirations.
I encourage you to approach this training with an open mind and a curious heart. Be prepared to engage in thought-provoking discussions, ask questions, and challenge your own assumptions. Remember that learning is not always easy, but we grow the most through our struggles and challenges.
You will be asked to reflect on your beliefs, values, and goals as future youth ministers in the days and weeks ahead. You will explore the complexities of youth culture, the dynamics of mentoring and discipleship, and the ethical responsibilities of this role.
